Greg Nardine is a licensed massage therapist (CT License #7871) with experience in both medical and spa-based environments. Greg’s holistic approach to treatment places a priority on cultivating a deep relaxation during each session to allow the client’s mind to benefit along with the body. Using a blend of Eastern and Western manual techniques, Greg has helped clients achieve positive results in treating a wide variety of issues, such as tension headaches, migraines, pre- and post-operative joint replacement management, tendinitis, sciatica, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), TMJ issues, fibromyalgia, chronic muscle tension, traumatic injury recovery, Lyme disease and many others.
Greg is comfortable working with clients independently or in collaboration with physical therapists, chiropractors or other healthcare professionals and can readily tailor his personal style of therapeutic bodywork to the needs of each client. In addition, Greg’s training as Corrective Exercise Specialist enhances his ability to accurately pinpoint each area of tension or weakness that needs addressing.
A certified massage instructor, Greg is a faculty member at Cortiva Institute’s Connecticut campus. There he teaches courses in basic and advanced massage techniques, anatomy & physiology, kinesiology and pathology. He also oversees clinics in which he mentors students as they begin to develop client/therapist relationships and create plans for treatment.
Greg graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport and was awarded the Certificate for Academic Achievement for his 4.0 GPA. He achieved a perfect score on the National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Greg attained the certification of Corrective Exercise Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
